Hi, I’m Susie Wyshak. My life changed in 2001 when a farmer’s market vendor said: “You must be involved with Slow Food.” I joined; met some amazing people; went to the Salone del Gusto the following year…and since then have only expanded my life long delight and passion for delicious locally grown, locally produced foods made by hand or by small producers.
Someone recently told me “You always know about the things that make life worth living.” I hope this blog expands your horizons and helps the great businesses I discover!

January 2009 Update:
I’m thrilled to have joined the Foodzie.com team, which is building a wonderful online marketplace to discover and buy from amazing artisan food companies. As the Food Artisan Relations Manager (FARM!), I help artisan food producers build their businesses by setting up stores on Foodzie. I’ll be writing more often on the Foodzie blog.
